The garden

A garden made for unhurried moments.

Rather than one formal lawn, the garden unfolds in a series of smaller areas. Paths lead between palms and planting to terraces, a pavilion and the barbecue area. Some places open towards the Atlantic, while others feel sheltered within the greenery.

It is a setting for a quiet coffee, a book beneath the pavilion or an informal meal outdoors. The atmosphere is cared for but relaxed — an authentic part of life at Villa Larnia.

The Barranco de la Negra borders Villa Larnia’s palm garden directly. Dark volcanic rock formations, old terrace walls and wild vegetation define this striking ravine.

Over long periods, water and weathering have shaped the volcanic landscape. Today, the barranco forms a fascinating natural contrast to the carefully tended palm garden.

Here, two sides of Tenerife meet: the lush vegetation of our garden and the unspoilt, rugged beauty of the volcanic island.
